Our NGO joins #GivingTuesday, which mobilizes people in response to Black Friday in favour of generosity and social commitment
The aim is to raise awareness for the situation of the most vulnerable children, lacking parental care, living in crises and those who do not see their rights fulfilled, especially girls
This is the case of girls like Yasmin* and Aissa*, who will benefit from the help of SOS Children’s Villages in Aït Ourir, Morocco, where we contribute to the construction of a new school with a boarding school for girls. The alternative care guarantees their well-being and their protection but access to a quality education as well. Like them, other children could be welcomed, protected, fed, and cared for thanks to our solidarity.

On September 8, 2023, a powerful earthquake devasted south of Morocco, particularly affecting 300,000 people, 100,000 of them are children. The Moroccan Ministry of Education reports that 530 schools and 55 boarding schools have been damaged. We will therefore contribute to the construction of a new school with a boarding school for girls in Aït Ourir near Marrakesh, in a region hard it by the earthquake and where school abandonment is rising.
Since 2021, we were able to raise more than €35,000 on #GivingTuesday to help children affected by major crises. THANK YOU!
