Since its creation in 1974, it is thanks to the generosity of its numerous donors, sponsors and friends and to the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (Department of Development Cooperation) that SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde has supported multiple projects in the field of children’s rights and protection.
Currently, SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is committed over time to programs focused on the replacement care of children, prevention of separation of children from their biological families and support for communities. It is present in West Africa (Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal) and in Eurasia (Uzbekistan, Russia). In addition, the association is mobilizing for emergency aid and reconstruction aid programs in Iraq, Mali, Mozambique, Chad and the Central African Republic.
For 45 years, SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde, based in Luxembourg, has been committed to the care, well-being and development of children throughout the world.
