More than 60,000 children, young people and adults supported worlwide
The Board of Directors and members of SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde held their Annual General Meeting on 12 May 2026 at the offices of EY Luxembourg. The 2025 annual report was presented and the accounts, audited by the independent auditors Horus Audit & Associés S.à r.l., were approved. The results represent a significant increase compared to 2024. President Nathalie Hoffmann-Dondelinger and Managing Director Sophie Glesener thanked the association’s supporters for their wonderful solidarity, all the more so in these difficult times for everyone: sponsors, donors, public and private partners, and volunteers. They also paid tribute to the generous testators of SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde. In 2025, everyone supported the association in a very significant way, enabling it to achieve excellent results.
In 2025, SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde raised €13,305,400 in public and private funds. This sum includes funding from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (€2.7 million in managed funds); contributions from local authorities and foundations; contributions from sponsors (€1.50 million) through 3,725 sponsorships in 103 countries; contributions from private donors and partners; and bequests and legacies (an exceptional contribution of over €6.7 million). The association was able to count on the generosity of 175 companies, 45 organisations, 28 public institutions and 5 foundations. It was thus able to fund 27 projects in 15 countries and territories to support more than 60,000 children, young people and adults, as well as 37,000 other direct beneficiaries and child protection professionals.
