Fourth edition of the 20 km for SOS campaign for vulnerable children
The good weather is back and with it the possibility to enjoy outside activities. What if you could practice your favourite exercise helping defend children’s rights and care for separated children? This is the purpose of this challenge.
From 1 to 30 June, go for 20 km rollerblading, riding a scooter, cycling, running…. any means is appropriate to take up the challenge. The aim is to set a distance of 20 km or more and rally your family, friends and/or colleagues to sponsor each kilometre accomplished with a donation.
The challenge is open to everyone. On your own, in groups of two, three or more, with family or friends, in one go or split overtime… This summer, sharing time outdoors with your loved ones could be the occasion to share moments of joy with most vulnerable children all over the world. The only slogan: #LeaveNoOneBehind.
By joining the challenge, participants will support vulnerable children benefiting our work on 4 continents. In 2024, year of our 50th anniversary, our organisation focuses on education initiatives in Cape Verde, the Central African Republic, Colombia, Laos and Morocco, while also developing programmes to prevent child abuse, enhance community dynamics, and promote social cohesiveness in West Africa and Uzbekistan. Moreover, it contributes to emergency responses during conflicts, natural disasters, and major crises affecting children and families, such as those in Ethiopia, Palestine, Ukraine, and beyond.
