15,000€ for development projects in Benin
Husky Technologies has been a partner of SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde for 19 years now. Year after year, employees who are very committed to the cause of children challenge themselves by taking part in major sporting events in the country. This year, many of them took part in the DKV-Urban Trail and the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg.

On 7 July, the company’s directors and employees welcomed representatives of the association to their site to hand over a symbolic cheque for the €15,000 raised during these two events. After the showing of a film shot in Benin in November 2024 about the projects supported, Director Sophie Glesener and Partnerships Manager Anne Schweizer warmly thanked the Husky Technologies teams for their support and solidarity with the most vulnerable children in the world. Since 2007, €281,633 has already been raised for the NGO.
The funds raised this year will help finance two Community Empowerment Programmes for Child Protection and Child Protection Systems (PACOPE-SPE) supported by the NGO in Abomey-Calavi and Parakou in Benin, as part of its 2022-2026 cooperation agreement with the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA).
These programmes aim to improve child protection, access to basic social services and the employability of young people. In 2024, 1,346 children (including 644 girls), 299 families and 237 young people seeking employment benefited directly from these programmes.
Jean-Christophe Witz, Site Leader Husky Luxembourg, says: “This commitment to SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is a project that deeply unites our teams. Husky is proud to see our employees mobilise year after year with such energy and solidarity for a cause as essential as the protection of children”.
