SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde launches the fifth edition of its Giving Tuesday campaign
For the fifth consecutive year, the non-profit organization SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is launching its Giving Tuesday solidarity campaign, bringing together partners, donors, volunteers, and friends as always to encourage generosity and social engagement as widely as possible.

As a reminder, it was in 2021 that the Luxembourg association joined the global #GivingTuesday movement, created in response to Black Friday, to encourage a strong gesture of solidarity. This year, the date is set for Tuesday, December 2.
The call is therefore out to help SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde raise funds and raise awareness of its work on behalf of vulnerable children around the world, particularly those deprived of protection and care, those facing crisis situations, and those deprived of their rights, especially girls.
Over the past five years, thanks to the wonderful involvement of its partners and benefactors, the non-profit organization has raised more than €35,000 to support children and young people affected by serious crises in Madagascar, Colombia, Ethiopia, and last year in Morocco.
A school where it will be good to live and study
In 2025, as in 2024, SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde wants to use Giving Tuesday to raise funds and awareness for students in Morocco, for whom it is mobilizing with a post-earthquake project that closely links education and protection. The project is taking shape in the town of Aït Ourir, located in the Marrakech-Safi region, which was devastated by a major earthquake in 2023.
Since November 2024, a co-ed middle school for 500 students and a boarding school for 50 girls have been under construction, with classes expected to begin in September 2026. These new facilities aim to ensure that students in the region who have been vulnerable since the earthquake can truly return to school and offer them the right learning conditions that go hand in hand with a quality education.
Any donations, fundraising efforts, and creative messages using the hashtags #GivingTuesday #NoChildAlone tagging @sosvillagesdenfantsmonde will be gratefully received.
