In the municipality of Kageshwori Manohara, at least 66 children with disabilities have been identified amongst the most vulnerable families. Physical barriers, prejudice and inadequate public services further increase their risk of exclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In partnership with the municipality of Kageshwori Manohara, SOS Children\u2019s Villages Nepal is implementing a comprehensive approach aimed at promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities and improving their future prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project supports access to a more inclusive education by providing adapted teaching materials, assistive technology and improvements to facilitate access to classrooms. It also enhances access to healthcare and rehabilitation services, which are essential for the children\u2019s development and independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, families receive practical support through the distribution of hygiene kits and essential equipment.
