For its fifth edition, the 20 km for SOS<\/em> charity sports challenge once again succeeded in bringing people together. Among the 2025 participants were several colleagues from Carlyle Luxembourg, the Grand Duchy branch of The Carlyle Group, a US-based asset management firm specialising in private equity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In concrete terms, eight colleagues \u2014 all members of the Women ERG, which aims to support women\u2019s professional development and enhance their visibility within the company \u2014 took part in this charitable challenge following an initiative led by Estelle Beyl Vodouhe, Co-Head of Platform Investing and Head of Real Assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This group of eight walkers met every Friday lunchtime for four consecutive weeks \u2014 from 27 June to 18 July \u2014 to clock up the kilometres together and encourage donations through a dedicated fundraising page on GivenGain. A challenge successfully met!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 3 October, the eight colleagues warmly welcomed Anne Schweizer and Lisa Forrler from SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde to their offices in Bonnevoie to present them with a symbolic cheque for \u20ac1,000 in support of vulnerable children <\/strong>assisted by the organisation through its development, education, and emergency relief projects around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When they met, the Carlyle Luxembourg Women ERG shared their joy at having completed the challenge together, walking side by side \u201cto show all those vulnerable children that they are not forgotten.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The representatives of SOS Villages d\u2019Enfants Monde<\/strong> used the occasion to highlight the organisation\u2019s ongoing projects and expressed heartfelt thanks to the Carlyle Luxembourg colleagues, who had also taken part in last year\u2019s Giving Tuesday 2024<\/em> initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour sa 5e<\/sup> \u00e9dition<\/strong>, le d\u00e9fi sportif et solidaire 20 km for SOS<\/strong><\/em> est une fois encore parvenu \u00e0 mobiliser. Parmi les participants de l\u2019\u00e9dition 2025<\/strong>, on compte plusieurs collaboratrices de Carlyle Luxembourg<\/strong><\/em>, antenne grand-ducale de The Carlyle Group<\/em>, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9ricaine de gestion d\u2019actifs, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans le capital-investissement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concr\u00e8tement, huit collaboratrices<\/strong>, membres du groupe Women ERG<\/em> – qui vise \u00e0 favoriser le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel des femmes et \u00e0 accro\u00eetre leur visibilit\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019entreprise – se sont engag\u00e9es dans ce challenge solidaire suite \u00e0 l\u2019initiative prise par Estelle Beyl Vodouhe, Co-head of Platform investing and Head of Real Assets<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce groupe de huit marcheuses s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 quatre vendredis<\/strong> de suite – du 27 juin au 18 juillet – \u00e0 l\u2019heure de la pause d\u00e9jeuner pour multiplier ensemble les kilom\u00e8tres et appel\u00e9 aux dons solidaires via une page de collecte, cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour l\u2019occasion, sur GivenGain. Le 3 octobre dernier, les huit collaboratrices ont chaleureusement accueilli Anne Schweizer<\/strong> et Lisa Forrler<\/strong> de SOS Villages d\u2019Enfants Monde<\/em> dans leurs locaux \u00e0 Bonnevoie pour leur remettre un ch\u00e8que symbolique de 1.000\u20ac <\/strong>en faveur des enfants vuln\u00e9rables que l\u2019association accompagne dans le monde \u00e0 travers des projets de d\u00e9veloppement, d\u2019\u00e9ducation et d\u2019aide d\u2019urgence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A l\u2019heure de la rencontre, les Carlyle Luxembourg Women ERG<\/strong><\/em> ont redit leur bonheur d\u2019avoir pu relever ce d\u00e9fi et marcher collectivement pour \u00ab montrer \u00e0 tous ces enfants vuln\u00e9rables qu\u2019ils ne sont pas oubli\u00e9s <\/strong>\u00bb<\/em>.
