As in 2024, the aim is to support <strong>a major humanitarian project set up following a prolonged drought in southern Ethiopia<\/strong>, which has had a severe impact on pastoral communities, leading to malnutrition among young children and severe food insecurity. <strong>In three years,<\/strong> Forvis Mazars has raised <strong>\u20ac12,532 <\/strong>for populations at risk of starvation, whether in the far south of Madagascar or in the Oromiya region of Ethiopia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 9 July, <strong>the Shadow Board of Forvis Mazars<\/strong>, made up of young employees involved in the company&#8217;s strategy, welcomed Anne Schweizer and Lisa Forrler, respectively Partnership Manager and Communications and Fundraising Officer at SOS Villages d&#8217;Enfants Monde, to its Luxembourg offices for a friendly cheque handover ceremony. The representatives of the NGO presented the progress of <strong>the beneficiary project in Ethiopia<\/strong> and spoke about <strong>a new three-year project focusing on resilience<\/strong>. This project is being developed in the Oromiya region to continue the work already underway. They warmly thanked the Shadow Board and complimented the runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u20ac5,000 will support this multi-faceted project running since 2023 in the southern region of Oromiya. Set up by the local SOS association, it has already helped to improve the health and nutrition of young children and pregnant and breastfeeding women, and to ensure the protection of displaced women.
