It&#8217;s unfortunate that the corona pandemic has halted our plans! Only now can we renew our invitation to participate in this adventure, which will take place in spring 2024. It explores some of the most stunning places in the area.<strong> The duration of the trip will be 6 days<\/strong> (including flights, hiking, visiting a project as well as the old city centre). As<strong> the hike will take 3 days <\/strong>and one will have to walk for several hours every day covering considerable height differences, <strong>participants should be in good shape <\/strong>before leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-3cf9c0547b2d4f5cb866e24b165c01c8\">In addition to the trip cost, every participant is kindly asked to <strong>fundraise \u20ac1,500 to support a project for children and their families <\/strong>run by the local team of <strong>SOS Children\u2019s Villages in wp-elements-8860123d3cffeba36de60c04ced8b7f1\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">in Arusha, Tanzania: the equipment of the school and laboratory of the SOS school for 455 students, the equipment and financing of the operating costs of the SOS kindergarten for 95 children, the operating costs of 2 youth centres for 47 young people<\/mark><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">in Kavre and Jorpati in Nepal: IT and medical equipment for 189 children, equipment (tables, chairs, PCs, books, etc.) of a public school in Bhimtar for 700 students<\/mark><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">in Entebbe, Uganda: the installation of solar panels in the SOS children\u2019s village for 300 children <\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p
